PhET Team has sent nice tips:

Try new browser-compatible Java sims

Is a favorite PhET sim still in Java? We are working on a stopgap solution to make our older Java simulations easier to access via a web browser, using Leaning Tech's CheerpJ software.

While their performance and rendering is somewhat compromised, they will run on Chromebooks and iPads - easing student use, especially during this time of remote learning!

We will be releasing a more complete set of simulations in a week or so, but in the meantime, try some of these favorites:
